Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka

On Friday, December 14, 2018, the Director of the Institute for Standardization of BiH, Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Ms. Brankica Milojević, signed Memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of standardization within the Solemn Academy on the occasion of 22nd anniversary of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka.

BAS EN 14351-1+A2:2018 adopted by translation method

Second edition of BiH standard BAS EN 14351-1 + A2: 2018, Windows and doors - Product standard, performance characteristics - Part 1: Windows and external pedestrian doorsets was adopted into the BiH standardization system by translation method.

Eurocodes Manual has been donated

On November 9, 2018, on behalf of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Deputy Director Mr. Borislav Kraljević, donated copies of the Handbook on Eurocodes to the Library of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Mostar, and the Library of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University “Džemal Bijedić”.

First Consultation of BH K/O CIRED

BiH Committee of the International Council on Large Electrical Systems (BH O CIGRÉ) and BiH Committee of the International Conference on Electricity Distribution (BH K CIRED) organized the First Consultation that was held from 14 to 16 October, 2018 in Mostar.

ISO regional workshop on implementing national standardization strategies

From 9 to 11 October in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, an ISO regional workshop on implementing national standardization strategies was held, which was organized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in cooperation with the Center for Standardization and Metrology under the Ministry of Economic Regulation of the Kyrgyz Republic (KYRGYZST).

BAS EN 206+A1 adopted by translation method

Second edition of the BiH standard BAS EN 206 + A1: 2018, Concrete - Specification, performance, production and conformity, was adopted by translation method through the Technical Committee BAS/TC 21, Concrete and related products, of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The standard is a translation of the English version of EN 206: 2013 with the amendment A1 from 2016.

BAS EN 13237: 2018 adopted by the translation method

Standard BAS EN 13237: 2018, Potentially Explosive Atmospheres - Terms and definitions for equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, was adopted by translation method.

BAS EN 1125:2018 adopted by translation method

Third edition of BAS EN 1125: 2018, Building hardware – Panic exit devices operated by a horizontal bar, for use on escape routes - Requirements and test methods, was adopted by a translation method through the Technical Committee BAS/TC 60, Doors and Windows, of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the system of BiH standardization.

BAS EN 581-1:2018 and BAS EN 527-2:2018 adopted by translation method

Third edition of BAS EN 581-1: 2018, Outdoor furniture - Seating and tables for camping, domestic and contract use - Part 1: General safety requirements and third edition of BAS EN 527-2: 2018, Office furniture - Work tables and desks - Part 2: Mechanical safety requirements, were adopted by translation method into the system of BiH standardization.
