Second edition of BiH standards BAS EN 12831-1: 2021 and BAS CEN/TR 12831-2: 2021 has been adopted by the translation method through Technical Committee BAS/TC 47, Appliances and systems for heating and refrigeration of the Institute for Standardization of BiH.

Third edition of BiH standard BAS EN 303-5: 2021, Heating boilers - Part 5: Heating boilers for solid fuels, manually and automatically stoked, nominal heat output of up to 500 kW - Terminology, requirements, testing and marking, has been adopted by the translation method
On the World Standards Day, October 14, 2021, the director of the Institute for Standardization of BiH, Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, paid a working visit to the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, together with the director of the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro.

The report of the European Standards Organizations CEN and CENELEC for the third quarter of 2021 states that Bosnia and Herzegovina has adopted 92.88% of European standards.
As part of the implementation of ČRA-ÚNMZ-ISBIH project “Strengthening the capacity of the national quality infrastructure for standardization and assessment of construction products in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISBIH), in cooperation with the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) , the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH and the Chamber of Economy of FBiH organizes a seminar on Eurocodes and their practical application in public works in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
