The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through its Technical Committee BAS/TC 57, Household and similar electrical appliances, adopted the third edition of the standard BAS EN 60335-1: 2021, Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 1: General requirements, which is a translation of the English version of the European standard EN 60335-1: 2012, Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 1: General requirements.

On June 3, 2021, the Institute for Standardization of BiH held a webinar for members of the Technical Committees (BAS/TCs). The webinar was attended by 29 members.
On Friday, June 4, 2021, starting at 10:00 AM, a press conference was held on the occasion of the adoption of the draft standard for the calculation of the design heat load in buildings BAS EN 12831-1 and BAS CEN/TR 12831-2 by the translation method.

.At the session of the Technical Committee BAS/TC 47, Appliances and systems for heating and refrigeration, which will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, in the premises of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in East Sarajevo, it is expected that the members of the Technical Committee, after final consideration, will adopt a standard for the calculation of design heat load in buildings - BAS EN 12831: 2021.

On Monday, April 12, starting at 10:00 AM, the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) is organizing a free webinar on "Application of BIM in BiH - feasibility study and BIM standards".
In order to provide the best possible conditions for wider use of standards in our country and easier, faster and cheaper access to standards, the Institute for Standardization of BiH has launched the service related to standards for online reading within 7 or 30 days, in accordance with the Decision on fees for standards, standardization documents and publications as well as the services of the Institute for Standardization of BiH, Official Gazette of BiH No. 78/20.
