Any organizations registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina which are interested in a specific work area of a Technical Committee may nominate their representatives to take part in its activities.
The benefits of membership in a Technical Committee include, among others:
- access to the latest information on European and international standardization activities,
- access to information on standards under development,
- the ability to influence the work programme of the Technical Committee,
- the oportunity to shape the content of standards at different stages of their development,
- participation in the work of international and European working groups for standards development and related meetings,
- networking with experts in a specific field of standardization.
To become a member of a Technical Committee, a completed and signed “Application” form BAS O 8.5 – 03, along with the professional CV of the nominated representative must be submitted either by post to the ISBIH address or electronically (scanned in PDF format) to the email address stand@isbih.gov.ba.
By applying to participate in a Technical Committee, the organization accepts all obligations arising from the involvement of its representatives in the work of the Technical Committee, which is voluntary. Nominated experts must be competent and/or have experience and/or an interest in the preparation and implementation of standards.
Organizations interested in managing the secretariat of a Technical Committee may also complete the “Questionnaire” form, BAS O 8.5 - 04, through which they can confirm their willingness to accept responsibility for managing the TC secretariat. This form contains information about the tasks and responsibilities of the secretariat, the chairperson, and the technical secretary.
