The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), active in the field of standardization, have signed a Cooperation Agreement which is being implemented in the following segments:
• Enabling the use of existing BAS standards for educational and scientific purposes,
• Strengthening the participation of CSOs and other stakeholders in the processes of preparation and adoption of BAS standards,
• Strengthening the participation of CSOs in the development of programme work plans and relevant strategies of the Institute,
• Development of partnership projects (research, educational, informative, media) according to the requirements of domestic and foreign donors in the field of BAS standards, and
• Strengthening cooperation between the Institute, CSOs and other stakeholders regarding the development and implementation of BAS standards in BiH.
The Cooperation Agreement between the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Civil Society Organizations is open to all other stakeholders who are not signatories to the Agreement, which they can join by sending a request to e-mail: onlinestand@isbih.gov.ba.
In order for CSOs to gain access to BAS standards, they need to send a request for the use of the online module for reading the standard to e-mail: onlinestand@isbih.gov.ba, after which, in accordance with the decision of the Institute for Standardization of BiH, CSOs will be assigned an access code to use the module.
