The Institute for standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina has published BAS EN 1991-1-4/NA, Eurocode 1: Actions on structures - Part 1-4: General actions – Wind actions – National Annex.
New edition of ISO 22000
The Institute for Standardization of BiH through its Technical Committee BAS/TC 58, Design of construction structures - Eurocode EN 1990, Eurocode 1, Eurocode 7, Eurocode 8 and Eurocode 9, has adopted the following standards by the translation method:
14th Annual Meeting of CEN and CENELEC
14th Annual meeting of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) was held in the Slovenian alpine resort Bled from 20 to 22 June 2018. The host of the meeting was Slovenian Institute for Standardization (SIST). The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by Aleksandar Cincar, Director and Borislav Kraljević, Deputy Director.

ISO regional training on managing national standards development using project management was organized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), in cooperation with the Institute for Standardization of Moldova ( ISM) from May 29 to June 1 this year in Chisinau, Moldova.

Conference “Current Status and Further Development of Eurocodes in the Western Balkans”
On May 29, 2018, the Conference “Current Status and Further Development of Eurocodes in the Western Balkans” was organized by the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BAS) in cooperation with the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing, with the support of the Czech Republic Development Agency.

As a result of the systemic review and in accordance with the Internal regulations for standardization, the Technical Committee BAS/TC 27, Mining prepared second editions of the below mentioned original BAS standards:
New standard for medical laboratories BAS EN ISO 15189 has just been translated
The third edition of the international/European standard BAS EN ISO 15189: 2018 has been translated into one of the official languages in BiH. The standard specifies the requirements for quality and competence in medical laboratories.

BAS EN 1729-1: 2018 and BAS EN 1729-2 + A1: 2018 adopted by translation method
Third edition of BAS EN 1729-1: 2018, Furniture - Chairs and Tables for Educational Institutions - Part 1: Functional Dimensions, and fourth edition of BAS EN 1729-2 + A1: 2018, Furniture - Chairs and Tables for Educational Institutions - Part 2: Safety requirements and test methods were adopted by translation method into BiH standardization system.
