From 16 to 19 October, 2018, a training course titled “ISO Regional Training on Good Standardization Practices (GSP)” was held in the Chinese city of Qingdao. The organizers were the Chinese national standardization body SAC - Standardization Administration of China and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The training was attended by representatives of Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a large number of representatives of Chinese companies and standardization bodies.

On this occasion, the participants were acquainted with the standardization system in China, application of good standardization practices in successful companies and ISO once again reiterated the main rules of standardization, development and publication of standards, principles for the development of international standards, the role of the WTO/TBT Agreement in the standardization process and the obligations arising from the acceptance of Annex 3 of the WTO/TBT Agreement.

At this training Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by Jasmina Ljubunčić from the Institute for Standardization of BiH.
