NAPOMENA 1 uz termin: Dokumentovane informacije mogu da budu u bilo kom obliku, na bilo kom medijumu i iz bilo kog izvora.
NAPOMENA 2 uz termin: Dokumentovane informacije mogu da se odnose na:
a) sistem upravljanja (3.10), uključujući povezane procese (3.25);
b) informacije kreirane u cilju realizacije operativnih aktivnosti organizacije (dokumentacija);
c) dokaz o ostvarenim rezultatima (zapisi).
NAPOMENA 3 uz termin: Ovaj termin predstavlja jedan od zajedničkih termina i ključnih definicija za ISO standarde za sisteme upravljanja koji su dati u Dodatku SL konsolidovanog ISO dodatka za ISO/IEC direktive, dio 1.
