Notes.
1 — The magnitude of the degree of coherence is equal to the visibility, V, of the fringes of a 2-beam interference experiment,
V= (S_max- S_min)/(S_max+ S_min )
where Smax is the irradiance at a maximum of the interference pattern, and Smin is the irradiance at a minimum.
2 — Optical radiation is considered highly coherent when the degree of coherence exceeds 0.88, partially coherent for values less than 0.88 and incoherent for values significantly less than 0.88. |

Napomene
1 - Veličina stepena koherencije jednaka je vidljivosti, V, između granica pri eksperimentu interferencije na uzorku dva svjetlosna snopa.
V= (S_max- S_min)/(S_max+ S_min )
gdje je Smax maksimalno zračenje na interferencijskom obrascu, a Smin je minimalno zračenje na interferencijskom obrascu.
2 - Optičko zračenje se smatra visoko koherentnim kada stepen koherentnosti prelazi 0,88, djelimično koherentim za vrijednosti manje od 0,88 i nekoherentim za vrijednosti znatno manje od 0,88. |
