Study Visit of Inter-institutional Working Group for Quality Management

As part of the Programme for Strengthening of Public Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina which is carried out and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a study visit of the inter-institutional working group for quality management was organized for the partner organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina to European cities Brussels and Maastricht from 5-9 June 2016. The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by Aleksandar Cincar, Director of the Institute and Miljan Savić, Advisor for Standardization in the field of ISO/CEN.

 

The aim of the study visit was to acquaint representatives from partner institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina with good practices of quality management systems in public administration by implementing EN ISO 9001 or CAF model, measuring customer satisfaction, measuring employee satisfaction, etc.

 

As part of the study visit, a one-day visit to the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) in Maastricht was organized. European Institute of Public Administration provides quality services to develop the capacity of civil servants in the European Union.

 

Within the study visit, for the representatives of the Institute for Standardization of BiH another visit to the Institute for Standardization of Belgium was organized, which was very important for the exchange of experiences and good practices. The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina will try to implement all information on solutions that are advanced and applicable at in order to improve existing work processes, products and services that the Institute offers to its customers.
