Third edition of BiH standard BAS EN ISO 3834-5:2016, Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials - Part 5: Documents with which it is necessary to conform to claim conformity to the quality requirements of ISO 3834-2, ISO 3834-3 or ISO 3834-4, has been adopted by translation method.

The original text of the International Standard has been prepared by the Technical Committee ISO/TC 44, Welding and allied processes in cooperation with the Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 Welding, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.

ISO 3834-5:2015 specifies the International Standards with which it is necessary to conform to claim conformity to the quality requirements of ISO 3834-2, ISO 3834-3, or ISO 3834-4. It can only be used in conjunction with ISO 3834-2, ISO 3834-3, or ISO 3834-4.

The principle of this International Standard is that a qualification test qualifies a welder not only for the conditions used in the test, but also for all other conditions which are considered easier to weld in accordance with this International Standard. It is presumed that the welder has received training and/or has industrial practice within the range of qualification.

BiH standard BAS EN ISO 3834-5:2016 has been prepared by the Technical Committee of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina BAS/TC 2, Welding and related processes.
