Activities of the Institute for Standardization of BiH during the Pandemic

The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISBIH) continues to work  despite the current situation of a pandemic caused by a coronavirus (COVID 19). Functional electronic sales of standards have also been established. With the help of modern technologies and the efforts of management and employees, the Institute, via video conferences, continues to fulfill the set business goals, which include regular meetings, Board meetings, sessions of the Technical Committees, activities for the implementation of the project "Improving the availability of technical standards for SMEs in BiH" , which is launched in cooperation with Enterprise Development Agency EDA - Banja Luka, as well as all other activities. Also, a free webinar "Business Continuity Management in accordance with BAS EN ISO 22301" is being organized, which will be held on 9 May.

 

This type of work of the Institute had a positive impact among all stakeholders, members of Technical Committees, representatives of SMEs, associates on the mentioned project.

 

The members of the Technical Committees for Standardization significantly contribute in these circumstances, and there has been an excellent response to the video conferencing sessions.

 

Using modern technology and acquired knowledge and experience, ISBIH will continue to enable online meetings of the Technical Committees and attendance of those meetings even after the normalization of work and the end of the emergency, while physical attendance at the sessions will have priority.
