Abstract
This Annex specifies the mechanical and geometrical characteristics of concrete reinforcing steel, requirements for bending tests for reinforced fabric and the method of conducting re-testing in the evaluation of results, which are not prescribed in the basic part of the standard BAS EN 10080:2007. This document is applied together with the standard BAS EN 10080: 2007. In the manufacture of concrete reinforcing steels in bars and coils, the B500C and B550B quality steels are used, and the B500A quality steel is used for the manufacture of reinforced fabric and lattice girders. The chemical composition of the above mentioned steel is given in Table 2 of the standard BAS EN 10080: 2007.
