Employees of the Institute for Standardization of BiH are returning to their workplaces

At the 5th regular session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina held on May 21, 2020, the Decision on repealing the Decision on the actions of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the threat to life and health of employees caused by the presence of COVID-19 virus was adopted.

 

Accordingly, the Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a Decision on repealing the Decision on the actions of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the threat to life and health of employees caused by the presence of COVID-19 virus. On the basis of this decision, all employees of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina are back to their workplaces from May 25, 2020, with the obligation to fully comply with protective measures.

 

During the previous period, the Institute for Standardization of BiH successfully maintained business continuity, by establishing a new way of mutual contact, as well as communication with external associates and users. It is recommended that, even after returning to the workplaces, the meetings and sessions of the expert bodies of the Institute should be held online, via Internet and video conferencing applications. Sales of standards should be done electronically.
