Within activities carried out by the Institute for Standardization of BiH in the previous period, which were related to the identification of laws and bylaws referring to BAS standards, it was established that the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted 35 such regulations.

The total number of BAS standards referred to in these regulations is 299.

During the analysis, it was established that in most regulations an undated reference to standards (256 BAS standards) were made, which means that when modifying specific requirements in standards, due to technological progress, it will not be necessary to modify the adopted regulations.

Regulations in which dated references to standards (43 BAS standards) were made should be modified when new editions of standards are published.
