On 16 May 2017, the students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo visited the Institute for Standardization of BiH. The visit was organized on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the Field of Standardization, signed between the Institute for Standardization of BiH and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo. The  visit was organized by Nada Cincar, MSc. and Goran Vuković, B.Sc.

On behalf of the Institute for Standardization of BiH, the participants were addressed by Mirjana Šućur, Head of the Standardization Department in the field of IEC/ITU/CENELEC/ETSI, Dragan Ćućilo, specialist in the field of IEC/ITU/CENELEC/ETSI and Dejana Bogdanović, Head of Information and Documentation Department.

Through the presentations, the students were acquainted with the role of the Institute for Standardization of BiH in standardization process in BiH, the importance of standards and standardization in technical regulations as well as the services of the Institute for Standardization of BiH.

The goal of this visit is to enable students to acquire knowledge in  standardization area, which will have a positive effect over a longer period of time.
