The third edition of the BiH standard BAS IEC 60050-826: 2016, International Electrotechnical Vocabulary - Part 826: Electrical installations was adopted by the translation method.

This BiH standard is identical to the international standard IEC 60050-826: 2004, International Electrotechnical Vocabulary - Part 826: Electrical installations, prepared by the IEC Technical Committee TC 1, Terminology in collaboration with the IEC Technical Committee 64, Electrical installations and protection against electrical shock.

This standard defines terms and definitions of the characteristics of electrical installations, voltage and current, electric shock and protective measures, earthing and bonding, electrical circuits, wiring systems, other equipment, isolation and switching and the capability of persons.
