The third edition of BiH standard BAS EN 61557-5: 2016, Electrical safety in low voltage distribution systems up to 1000 V a.c (AC) and 1500 V DC - Equipment for testing, measuring or monitoring of protective measures - Part 5: Resistance to earth, was adopted by translation method.

This BiH standard is identical to the European standard EN 61557-5: 2007 Electrical safety in low voltage distribution systems up to 1000 V a.c. and 1500 V DC - Equipment for testing, measuring or monitoring of protective measures - Part 5: Resistance to earth, and has the status of BiH standard, which is prepared by the Technical Committee TC 85, Measuring equipment for electrical and electromagnetic quantities.

This part of IEC 61557 establishes requirements for equipment for measuring earth resistance using a.c voltage.
