SQM 2013
17th International Conference “SQM 2013” (Software Quality and Maintainability) was held in Tivat, from 23 to 25 September, and was organized by the Centre for Quality of the Faculty for Mechanical Engineering, University of Montenegro, Society for Quality of Montenegro, the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (Committee for Quality) and the journal Quality & Excellence. On behalf of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Miljan Savic, expert for standardization in the field of ISO/CEN attended the conference.
This year's conference was dedicated to the following topics:
- Quality and harmonization with the EU directives and standards,
- Determining the current state of the program for quality management systems and defining the next phase of the quality improvement strategy,
- How to access requirements of the process model in accordance with ISO 9000,
- Exchange of experiences of the companies that introduced the quality system,
- Promoting activities to improve the quality of education, tourism, healthcare and administration,
- Encouraging the usage model of quality of life and
- Encouraging activities on the implementation of the ISO 14000 series, ISO 22000 and integrated management systems.
Within the conference, a round table on the following topics was organized:
- Corporate Social Responsibility ISO 26000
- Review of the draft of the strategy Free flow of goods in Montenegro
