Mr. Zekerijah Osmic, Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, Director of the Institute for Standardization of BiH have signed an Agreement on business and technical cooperation on 28 May 2013.
The aim of the Agreement is that through joint activities and in accordance with the principles adopted by European and international standards organizations, improve the level of security, health and people protection, quality and preservation of environment as well as to contribute to strengthening the defence system in BiH and integration processes for accession to Euro-Atlantic iniciatives and organizations.
Cooperation areas under the Agreement are related to mutual expert assistance in areas under jurisdiction of these institutions, organization and participation in seminars, scientific conferences,  workshops, exchange of plans, publications, and experiences in the field of standardization as well as cooperation on bilateral, regional and international projects regarding standardization.
Minister of Defence and the Director of the Institute have expressed satisfaction with this Agreement and highlighted that it will contribute to intensification of cooperation in areas significant for these organizations.
