Security Toolbox Protects Organizations from Cyber- attacks

Cyber-attacks are among the great risks an organization can face. Having standards and systems in place to keep information safe has never been more important than in today’s digital world. Therefore, ISO/IEC 27000 series on information security represent a great value today.

In a global survey conducted by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) in 129 countries, only 38% respondents  felt they were prepared for a cyber-attack, even though 83% believed this kind of crime is among the top three threats facing organizations today.

Below is a list of some of the standards, which were published in 2015:

  • ISO/IEC 27017: 2015 - Protecting information in the cloud data
  • ISO/IEC 27013: 2015 - Integrated solutions for service
  • ISO/IEC 27010: 2015 - Inter-sector and inter-organizational communications
  • ISO/IEC 27039: 2015 - Detecting and preventing cyber-attacks
  • ISO/IEC 27006: 2015 Audit and Certification.
