The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Academy has announced a new series of free webinars. Professional publications will be presented at the webinars.

The first webinar will feature Mr. Timothy Jorgensen, Professor in the Departments of Radiation Medicine and Biochemistry at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC. Professor Jorgensen is also the Chair of Georgetown’s Radiation Safety Committee, an Consociate Member of the National Council on Radiation Protection, and a member of the DC Science Writers Association. In 2017, he received an AIP (American Institute of Physics) Science Communication Award.

The webinar discussio will focus on his book: “Spark: The Life of Electricity and the Electricity of Life”.

The first webinar is scheduled for June 29, 2023.
