Seminar „Energy management and ISO 50001“
The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the ISO - International Standards Organization, are organizing an ISO/BAS national seminar on „Energy management and ISO 50001“. Seminar will be held from 3 to 5 June in Sarajevo.
The purpose of the seminar is to promote and become better acquainted with the requests of this international standard aiming to continualy improve energy performances, reduce energy consumption and increase energy efficiency through a system approach and establishment, implementation, maintainance and improvement of energy management system in organizations. This standard and its practical implementation is one of the key tools for energy efficiency improvements.
In addition, the seminar will show examples of good practice in the implementation of energy management system which will be presented by the experts from the energy efficiency, industry, state institutions and academia since this international standard is applicable to all types of organizations regardless of its type or size.
The speakers at the seminar will be Mr. Rainer Stifter (Director general of ENERGON), expert in the field of energy efficiency and implementation of ISO 50001, Dusan Djurdjevac on behalf of the Institute and as a representative of the national standards body in BiH and, as a represenative of the industrial sector, Mr. Djordje Djogo, from Opticum Ltd.
Dusan Djurdjevac and Djordje Djogo have the obligation, as local speakers, to transfer the knowledge and experience gained through recently held ISO regional seminar. The aim of the seminar was to educate trainers on implementation of energy management system according to ISO 50001 at the national level.
