Meeting of the Subcommittee ISO/TC 34/SC 12 on Sensory Analysis

The meeting of the Subcommittee on Sensory analysis ISO/TC 34/SC 12 was held in in Buenos Aires from 23 to 24 April 2015. Among the participants was the representative of the Institute for Standardization PhD. Midhat Jašić, full professor at the Faculty of Technology, University in Tuzla who is also a member of the Technical Committee for food (BAS/TC 43).

 

Since April 2012, Bosnia and Herzegovina actively participates in the work of the ISO Subcommittee ISO/TC 34/SC 12, Sensory analysis. By becoming a full member (P-member) of this subcommittee (March 2015) the Institute for Standardization has taken over the obligation to actively participate in the work related to international standardization, as well as the obligation to vote on the development of international standards.

 

Technical committee for food BAS/TC 43 will held its regular session in October 2015. Work methodology will be presented to all members and working documents that needs to be completed by the next meeting of this subcommittee will be analyzed, which is planned for 2016. The Committee for food will continue to be regularly involved in these activities.

 

ISO/TC 34/SC 12 

During the meeting in Buenos Aires, among other things, the cooperation with the University of Buenos Aires has been established in order to develop a project of a long-term cooperation between BiH and Aregentina.

 

Secretary of ISO/TC 34/SC 12, Mrs. Maria Fernandez once again thanked the Institute for Standardization for the excellent organization of the last meeting of this subcommittee, which was held in Sarajevo in 2012.
