Within the Twinning project “Achieving the highest safety and technical quality of construction” which is being implemented in Montenegro, a regional meeting of the representatives of the Technical Committees of the Institutes for Standardization was held on 21 November 2012.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Joanna Gajdek, , MS project leader on behalf of the Austrian Standards Institute, Mr. Danilo Gvozdenovic, assistant to the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism and project leader on behalf of Montenegro, representatives of the Technical Committees of the Institutes for Standardization of Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro.

Twinning project and its major outcomes were presented at the meeting. Also, all participants were given information on further activities in its implementation.

During the discussion, the experience and information on the current stage of the adoption and use of Eurocodes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro were exchanged and the issues regarding trainings on implementation of Eurocodes were discussed.
