A regional workshop on Increasing Consensus & Stakeholder Engagement organized by ISO (DEVT) and sponsored by SIDA was held in Yerevan (Armenia) from 30 September to 2 October 2013.

The workshop was attended by representatives from national standards bodies and members of the national technical committees of Serbia, Montenegro, FYR Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

ISO's document Guidance for ISO national standards bodies Engaging stakeholders and building consensus was presented at the workshop, and an active involvement of present participants in the ISO New Work Item Proposals was emphasized.
