Development of New Original BiH Standard

Upon request of the representative of the Oil Refinery from Bosanski Brod and via BAS/TC 11 Petroleum and petroleum products, an activity has been launched to develop an original standard „Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for industrial and domestic use – Requests and test methods“. This original standard should define requests and test methods for liquid petroleum gas (LPG) used in industry and households. This standard should cover liquefied petroleum gas containing propane, butane, propene (propylene), butene, pentane/pentene and their mixtures.

Mentioned original standard would not define:

  • Safety and health requirements for the use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)
  • Requests for storage, transport and delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);
  • Requests for vessels for storage of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

All stakeholders interested in participating in the development of this original BiH standard should contact Miljan Savić, technical secretary/coordinator at the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (tel: + 387 57/310-597; e-mail: miljan.savic@bas.gov.ba).
