On Thursday 28 November 2013, at the Institute for Standardization (BAS), a meeting between representatives of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMZ), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations (MoFTER) and the BAS Institute was held.

The meeting was the continuation of discussion on cooperation between these two national standardization bodies. Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, Director of the BAS Institute, and Mr. Miroslav Chloupek, Director of International Relations Department of UNMZ talked about the activities that have been carried out as well as what is planned for the future.

The participants expressed the hope that future cooperation in this area will be improved, concluding that there are reasonable grounds for it. Joint action and cooperation between these two institutions regarding the adoption of European standards by translation method into Bosnian standardization in the construction field so called Eurocodes, as well as the development of national annexes to these standards were also discussed.
