A delegation from the World Trade Organization (WTO), led by Xiangchen Zhang, Deputy Director-General, paid a working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The primary focus of the visit was the fulfillment of requirements for WTO membership, one of which is the full alignment of domestic trade legislation with WTO rules.

The WTO delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including one with the leadership of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the meeting, it was concluded that the Institute had fulfilled all its obligations related to the process of meeting the requirements for WTO membership. Also, the Institute committed to provide all necessary support to other institutions concerning standards and standardization.

On behalf of the Institute Director Aleksandar Todorović and Head of the Department for Conformity Assessment, Miljan Savić attended the meeting.
