In an effort to help manufacturers, testing laboratories as well as healthcare professionals and the general public combat the global pandemic caused by COVID-19 (coronavirus), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the global standards organization ASTM International are also providing no- cost public access to a number of standards for critical care ventilators, basic medical supplies, test methods, performance specifications and terminology.
