Deputy Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Borislav Kraljević, paid a working visit to the Spanish Association for Standardization - UNE and Spanish Association for Standardisationand Certification - AENOR from 9 to 10 March 2017.

During the visit, Mr. Kraljević was acquainted to the organization and operation of UNE and AENOR, and signed the Memorandum of Understanding between BAS and UNE.

The Memorandum envisages cooperation in the field of standardization and other areas of mutual interest, cooperation between Spanish and BiH experts, organization of seminars and workshops, and exchange of promotional materials and standardization documents.

UNE participates in several international support projects in Europe, Central America and Africa, and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding opens the possibility for closer cooperation with BAS, so concrete actions are expected in the future.
