Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, and Deputy Director, Borislav Kraljević held a meeting at the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with  Mr. Armin Hodžić, Director of Energy Department and Ms. Enisa Kadić  Head of the Analysis and Informatics Centre with the Chamber.

During the meeting, a new project that the Institute for Standardization of BiH should implement in cooperation with the Czech Development Agency and the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing was being discussed, concerning the establishment of a register of construction products. In this way an information portal would be established that should contain all the necessary requirements for construction products, with tested properties required for quality in design and building of engineering structures. Stakeholders are to be designers, investors, contractors, laboratories, certification bodies, manufacturers and distributors who could, with the implementation of this project, find a list of all certified construction products in one place.

They also discussed the establishment of contact points at the Chamber of Economy  of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where all stakeholders would be enabled to electronically review the standards.

 
The meeting was held in accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation between the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was signed in 2015.
