Visit to a Bulgarian Institute for standardization
Representatives of the Institute for standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BAS) visited Bulgarian Institute for standardization (BDS) from 1 to 4 November 2010. The aim of the visit was to inform BAS representatives about the activities of BDS, thereby to gain insight into the work of one of the full member of CEN.
During the visit, BAS representatives were acquainted with the background of Bulgarian standardization, organizational structure of the Institute as well as with the work of specific departments and working bodies of the Institute. Also, through presentation and organization of the Bulgarian Institute, BAS representatives have gained insight into the activities which are ahead of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to become a full member of CEN (BAS is currently an associate member of CEN – Afiliant). Obligations resulting from a full membership in CEN must be respected and friendly BDS staff represented their way of fulfilling these obligations.
