From 19 to 21 March 2019, The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina was visited by the representatives of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMZ) Miroslav Chloupek, Jindra Kafková and Klara Popadičová and Lubomir Keim from the Research Center for Civil Engineering - Certification Company from Prague.

During the visit, a series of meetings were held to discuss the continuation of successful cooperation that was realized on the project “Support to the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of application of Eurocodes”, which was implemented in the period 2015 - 2018.

Representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina along  with the guests from the Czech Republic agreed on the application for a new joint project that would continue the activities of the previous project, as well as launch new activities regarding the establishment of a certification system for construction products in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There was agreement that the project proposal should be agreed by mid-2019. The implementation of the new project is expected to begin in 2020.
