The visit was organized on the basis of the Agreement on technical cooperation between BAS and TSE, which was signed in September 2010 in Ankara.

Possibilities of cooperation were discussed during the visit. In addition to discussions with representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Turkish delegation also had discussions with representatives of other institutions of quality infrastructure - Institute for Metrology of BiH, Institute for Accreditation of BiH, the Agency for Market Surveillance of BiH and with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
