Visit of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing

As part of the visit to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the delegation of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing visited the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 19 April 2012. Besides the guests from the Czech Republic,  among delegation that visited the Institute were the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, lead by Mr. Zoran Bilbija, and representatives of Research and Development Center for Electric Power (IRCE) from East Sarajevo,  lead by Mr. Vjekoslav Sulaver,  whose laboratory guests from the Czech Republic have previously visited.

Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, briefed the guests on the organization and operation of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The attendees learned about the organization and operation of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing. They also discussed topics in the area of quality infrastructure, conformity assessment and other standardization related issues.
