Czech Development Agency  has decided to financially support the establishment of certification bodies according to the New Approach Directives (Low Voltage Directive and Construction Products Directive).

Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Aleksandar Cincar discussed the possible cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Czech Republic in the standardization area with representatives of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing and Development Agency. We are currently defining the Memorandum of Understanding in standardization and conformity assessment area between the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMZ) and the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BAS) that should be signed in December 2012. MoU will serve as the basis for future collaboration between the two institutions.
