Third edition of the original standard for halal food has been published
The third edition of the original BiH standard BAS 1049:2023, Halal food - Requirements and measures, has been published.
This standard specifies the requirements and measures for all processes and products/services that must comply with Islamic rules in order to meet the conditions for obtaining a halal quality certificate.
All requirements of this standard are generic and are intended to be applicable to all organizations in the food chain regardless of size and complexity.
Conditions for determining compliance with Islamic rules for certain products/services are defined by special guidelines that refer to this standard.
