Original standard BAS 1056:2015 has been published

The first edition of the original BiH standard BAS 1056: 2015, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for industry and households - Requirements and test methods has been published. The text of the standard was prepared by the Technical Committee BAS/TC 11, Petroleum and petroleum products.



BiH original standard specifies the requirements and test methods for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) which is used in industry and household. This standard applies to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), which consists of propane, butane, propene, butene, pentane/pentene and their mixtures.


The standard defines the quality and test methods of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG):

  • commercial propane (LP);
  • commercial butane (LB);
  • commercial propane - butane (LPB) mixture.

 

The standard does not specify:

  • safety and health requirements for the application of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);
  • requirements for storage, transport and delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and
  • requirements for vessels for the storage of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

 

Original standard BAS 1056: 2015, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for industry and households - Requirements and test methods, put out of use the following standards if the harmonization of legislation refers to BAS 1056: 2015:

  • JUS B.H2.130, Liquid petroleum gas - propane;
  • JUS B.H2.132, Liquefied Petroleum Gas - Butane and
  • JUS B.H2.134, Liquid petroleum gas - propane - butane mixture.
