In accordance with an European legislation and European Standards Organizations, the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina has established an information and notifiacion point (Infocenter) for the notification of standards. The notification of standards is carried out in accordance with EU Regulation 1025/2012 of the European Parliament and European Standardization Council (old Directive 98/34/EC) in order to provide details on the nature of the draft of new national standards and to ensure transparency.

On May 06, 2015 an European Committee for Standardization (CEN) has been notified about the project pr 1056, an original BiH standard „Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for industrial and domestic use – Requirements and test methods“. This standard will define requests and test methods for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used in industry and households.
