BAS EN ISO/IEC 17065:2014, Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services (EN ISO/IEC 17065: 2012, Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services)

The second edition of BAS EN ISO/IEC 17065: 2014 was published, identical with EN ISO/IEC 17065: 2012, Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.

The international standard ISO/IEC 17065: 2012 was prepared by ISO/CASCO, Committee on conformity assessment, in cooperation with the European Technical Committee CEN/CLC/TC 1, criteria for conformity assessment bodies, which was approved by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) as a European standard EN ISO/IEC 17065: 2012.

This International Standard contains requirements for the competence, consistent operation and impartiality of product, process and service certification bodies. Certification bodies operating to this International Standard need not offer all types of products, processes and services certification. Certification of products, processes and services is a third-party conformity assessment activity. Certification bodies for products, processes and services that wish to be accredited should be established in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17065: 2014.

BAS EN ISO/IEC 17065: 2014 was prepared by the Working Group BAS/TC 3/ WG 1, Conformity assessment, and adopted by the Technical Committee BAS/TC 3, Quality management and quality assurance, and was published in the Bulletin 2014-3/4 of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
