BiH standard BAS IEC 60050-161: 2015, International Electrotechnical Vocabulary - Chapter 161: Electromagnetic compatibility, third edition, 2015, is identical to the international standard IEC 60050- 161, International Electrotechnical Vocabulary, Chapter 161: Electromagnetic compatibility, first edition, 1990, including Amendment 1 from 1997, Amendment 2 from 1998, Amendment 4 from 2014 and Amendment 5 from 2015.

The text of the International Standard IEC 60050-161 has been prepared by the Working Group 161 of IEC Technical Committee TC 1, Terminology, jointly with the Technical Committee TC 77, Electromagnetic compatibility between electrical equipment including networks and by the CISPR, International Special Committee on Radio interference, under the responsibility of TC 1.

This third that has been taken over into BiH standardization system by translation method was prepared by the Technical Committee BAS/TC 15, Electromagnetic compatibility. This edition replaces BAS IEC 60050-161: 2010, International Electrotechnical Vocabulary Chapter 161: Electromagnetic compatibility.

This standard defines terms and definitions for: basic terms, disturbance waveforms,  interference control related terms, measurements, receiver and transmitter terms, equipment classification, power controls and supply network impedances, voltage changes and flicker.
