Memorandum Of Understanding - CDA-ÚNMZ-BAS

Within the framework of development cooperation between the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Memorandum of Understanding was officially signed between the Czech Development Agency, the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing, and the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday, 01/26/2015 in the premises of the hotel Hollywood in Sarajevo.

 

Agreement related to the implementation of the project “Support to the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of application of Eurocodes”, was signed by Mrs. Klára von Kriegsheim Kadlecová, Charge D' Affairs of the Czech Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Miroslav Chloupek, Deputy President of ÚNMZ and Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, Director of the Institute for standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

By the Decision of the Government of the Czech Republic in 2010, Bosnia and Herzegovina has been identified as one of five priority countries for development cooperation for the period 2011-2017. Development cooperation is based on the “Programme of cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Czech Republic for the period 2011 – 2017”. In this period development cooperation will focus on sharing experience and providing assistance in capacity building for accession negotiations and subsequent membership in the EU, the adaptation of legislation and technical assistance. For all forms of development cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina for the current programming period the Czech Republic has allocated funds in the amount of 2.5-3 million per year.

The total value of the project “Support to the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of application of Eurocodes” is 9 000 000 CZK (632 000 BAM), and the project will last for three years (from 2015 to 2017).
