Scope of technical committee BAS/TC 59

Standardization in the field of societal security, protection of society from and response to incidents, emergencies, and disasters caused by intentional and unintentional human acts, natural hazards and other disasters. Continuity emergency management at all phases, including aspects of prevention, response, mitigation and recovery through technical, human, organization and operational approaches.
