Ex- public forum Brcko 2014 “EXPLOSIVE PROTECTION - AN INTEGRAL PART OF FIRE PROTECTION, SAFETY AT WORK AND DISASTER PREVENTION” was held in Brčko on 11 and 12 September 2014, organized by Atex Association from Tuzla (Association for Explosion Protection and Safety in the Working and Living Environment), with the support of the Government of the Brčko District of BiH.

Participants of the public forum were experts from Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The complexity and importance of explosion protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in underground mines as well as the existence and implementation of legislation in this area, which is a big problem for Bosnia and Herzegovina was once again highlighted.

Jusuf Delić, Secretary General of the Ex Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Goran Tešanović, Assistant Director for conformity assessment participated on behalf of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Within Ex public forum, meetings of the technical committees that deal with issues related to this area: BAS/TC 6, Equipment for explosive atmospheres and BAS/TC 27, Mining were also held.
