Cosmetics Europe Week

The European Committee for Cosmetics CEN/TC 392 “Cosmetics” is engaged in the development of standards in the field of cosmetics to the final benefit of consumer health and well being. The work of the technical committee is based on the development of standards for analytical and microbiological test methods for cosmetic products, as well as efficacy including sun protection products.

Cosmetics Europe Week takes place this year from 16-19 June 2015 in Brussels, Belgium. Last year’s events were a great success gathering nearly 300 participants from 48 countries to discuss the scientific and regulatory landscape of the cosmetics industry and the importance of consumers at the heart of our business.

Cosmetics Europe Week is a unique opportunity to connect and interact with an international audience and exchange views about this innovative and vibrant industry throughout a week-long series of events.

Special emphasis is placed on the key developments in science and regulation that can directly impact EU and global cosmetics legislation across the value chain.

Cosmetics Europe Forum will take place on June 18th. Companies, associations, policy makers and other stakeholders in the cosmetics and personal care industry will have the opportunity to discuss the role of the industry in contributing to Europe’s growth under this year's theme “Science, beauty and care: delivering innovation and growth to the EU”. Registration for the Forum can be done here.
