The two-day visit of representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia to the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina

A delegation of the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) paid a working visit to the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BAS) and the Republic Institute for Standardization and Metrology of Republic of Srpska (RZSM) from 28th  to 29th of March. The delegation consisted of Tatjana Bojanić, Violeta Nešković – Popović, Dragan Vuksanović. A  visit is realized within the framework of agreement on cooperation between the three institutions.

 

 

The aim of the visit was to exchange experiences related to various activities in the field of standardization, as well as the context in which standardization is developing in both countries. Special attention is paid to matters of experience in the use of information systems in the development of BiH standardization, system of notification of standards to CEFTA, first experiences and obligations of ISS as a full member of CEN and CENELEC, and other issues of interest to all three institutions were also considered.

 

 

All participants agreed that such meetings have an exceptional importance and benefits for all three institutions and one of the conclusions was creating opportunities to continue this kind of cooperation.
