EN 527-2+A1: 2022, Office furniture - Desks - Part 2: Requirements for safety, strength and durability, third edition, adopted by the method of translation by Technical Committee BAS / TC 42, Wood and wood products, Institute for Standardization of BiH.

The original text of the European standard was prepared by the Technical Committee CEN / TC 207, Furniture, whose secretariat is under the authority of the Italian National Standardization Body (UNI).

Standard BAS EN 527-2 + A1: 2022 prescribes requirements for the safety, strength and durability of work desks and counters for office work performed in a sitting, semi-sitting / standing or standing position. It does not apply to other office desks, which are covered by standard EN 15372.

Annex A (informative) contains an examination of the deformation of the upper part of the table.

Annex B (informative) contains an example of calculating the stiffness of a structure.
