In November 2023, the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed the UNECE declaration „Gender Responsive Standards and Standards Development”.

Representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISBIH) participated in the regional workshop for the development of an action plan for gender responsive standards, which was organized by ISO in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from June 7 to 9, 2023. The Institute has established a working group for the development of an action plan for gender responsive standards based on Recommendation of the International organization for standardization, ISO.
