Each year, during the IEC General Meeting (International Electrotechnical Commission), the programme IEC Young Professionals has also been conducted. It brings together young electrotechnology professionals who will influence the standardization and conformity assessment in the field of electrical engineering in the future. National Technical Committee (BAKE- Electrotechnical Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina), an IEC member, proposes its representatives to participate in this sponsored programme.

Conditions that must be fulfilled are that the proposed professionals are coming from:

• Companies,
• State administration,
• Universities

and that they need to have experience in the development and use of standards. They also have to be in early twenties to mid-thirties.
